Strong Performance in the 2010 Professional Pilot Survey

Every year, Professional Pilot magazine conducts a survey in which its readers are asked to rate the quality of product support provided by helicopter manufacturers. 

The results of this year’s survey have been published just days before the opening of Heli-Expo, and are conclusive: Eurocopter has ranked as the best non-US Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). 

The survey focuses on seven areas of support: spares availability, speed in aircraft on ground (AOG) service, cost of parts, technical manuals, technical representatives, service satisfaction and company response time. Eurocopter’s rate of customer satisfaction increased in all seven categories as compared to 2009. In addition, Eurocopter attained the highest increase of all manufacturers in 4 of the 7 areas (i.e. spares availability, company response time, cost of parts, service satisfaction). 

Eurocopter ranked third in the survey with an overall score of 6.89 out of 10, up 5.2% from 2009. This is Eurocopter’s best score ever achieved for product support during the past 16 years of Professional Pilot survey.
